The Triple Crown SlumpBuster® and the NCAA® College World Series® are separate, non-related events that coincide in June.
SlumpBuster Philosophy: Score Early, Win Early, Stay Winning. If weather hits we may revert back to first Pool Play game or ½ of official game time for playoff seedings. We will give awards based off pool play seeding only in an emergency where games played without elimination finish due to inclement weather. The ultimate goal of the event is to play ball not “Crown a Champion.” Play to win every game!
Tuesday, June 10th
13u-14u Lightning Round teams (6-game option) expected arrival and check-in anytime from 9am-5pm at the Embassy Suites La Vista (12520 Westport Parkway, La Vista, NE). Purchase team/player merchandise.
Wednesday, June 11th
9u-12u Lightning Round teams (6-game option) and 13u-14u (4-game option) expected arrival and check-in anytime from 9am-5pm at the Embassy Suites La Vista (12520 Westport Parkway, La Vista, NE). Purchase team/player merchandise.
13u-14u Lightning Round (6-game option) games begin from 8am-4pm (6-game option)
Thursday, June 12th
9u-12u (4-game option) expected arrival and check-in anytime from 9am-2pm at the Embassy Suites La Vista (12520 Westport Parkway, La Vista, NE). After 2pm, check-in will be at the Council Bluffs Rec. Complex.
13u-14u Pool Play begins from 8am-4pm
9u-12u Lightning Round (6-game option) games begin from 8am-4pm
SLUMPBUSTER FESTIVAL:
5pm-9pm at the Council Bluffs Sports Complex in Council Bluffs, IA. Festival will include Fundamental Team Challenge, Giant Wooden Bat Bonfire, pin trading, inflatables, tournament merchandise and vendor row.
Friday, June 13th
13u-14u Pool Play continues from 8am-4pm
9u-12u Pool Play from 8am-4pm
End of day - Seeding into playoff brackets
Saturday, June 14th
Bracket and Elimination Play from 8am-4pm. (Roughly 50% of teams will be eliminated.)
Sunday, June 15th
Championship Play from 8am-4pm (Recommended day to depart Omaha.) Rain out games will NOT be played on Monday.
